Waivers & Gear Rental Agreement
In order to participate in this Canoe & Kayak Equipment Rental Program, all paddlers must read and sign the Equipment Rental Agreement and Liability Release Waiver. NO EXCEPTIONS! All Paddlers are responsible for their own safety while out on the bayou and are expected to be advanced enough to venture onto the bayou without a guide. If you are worried about capsizing your canoe this may not be the best option for you. To view our Beginner’s Canoe Lessons and Intermediate Guided Paddle schedule, please click here.
Lost or Damaged Gear
Additional fees for lost or damaged equipment will be applied to the total cost of the rental. See Bayou Vermilion District Equipment Rental Agreement for details.
Paddle Trips may be canceled due to inclement weather. In winter months a combined water and air temperature must be equal to or greater than 120ºF for paddle trips to go out. Certain paddle routes are closed during hunting season.
