CANOE & KAYAK EQUIPMENT RENTALS

This is strictly an equipment rental only program that offers paddlers an opportunity to enjoy the beauty of Bayou Vermilion at their leisure. Paddlers are responsible for their own safety.

Certain paddle routes are closed during hunting season.  The rental program is limited to trail routes on the Bayou Vermilion only. Rentals include a vessel, paddles and personal floatation devices. Additional fees for lost or damaged equipment may apply.  This program is for those who are advanced and capable enough to venture on their journey without a guide.

Waivers & Gear Rental Agreement

In order to participate in this Canoe & Kayak Equipment Rental Program, all paddlers must read and sign the Equipment Rental Agreement and Liability Release Waiver. There are NO exceptions to this policy. All Paddlers are responsible for their own safety while out on the bayou and are expected to be advanced enough to venture onto the bayou without a guide. If you are worried about capsizing your canoe this may not be the best option for you. We highly recommend that inexperienced paddlers attend one of our Beginners’ Canoe/Kayak Lessons to further develop their paddling skills before venturing into Bayou Vermilion alone.
