TGIF Boat Tour — August 8, 2025
We have your chance to gather friends and family and come for a boat tour on the Vermilion -- Friday, August 8 at 9:30 AM. This is a perfect chance to spend some time on the river, learn the history and the mystery, see the flora and fauna along the banks -- you may spy an alligator or two! CFMA Cajun Jam
Vermilionville's weekly Cajun Jam Saturday afternoons 1-3 PM is led by some of the area’s finest musicians. The free jam is held in the Performance Center of Vermilionville and is open to all skill levels-beginner to professional. Admission is free but does not include entry to the park. Special thanks to the Cajun French Music Association for sponsoring our weekly jams!
Acadian Culture Day 2025
The community is invited to join the Bayou Vermilion District’s Vermilionville to celebrate our annual FREE Festival, Acadian Culture Day on Sunday, August 10th from 10 AM – 5 PM. Join us for a family-friendly day of live music, great food, art, cooking, storytelling, spinning and weaving, arts and crafts, and other demonstrations.
