A Celebration of French Language and Culture in Louisiana!
Come out to Vermilionville for a Celebration of French Language and Culture in Louisiana! On Saturday, September 4th, we'll be hosting music, speakers, panelists, community organizations, local beer crafters, French-style rum from Wildcat Brothers, and more! We'll also have pentanque, great drinks, great conversations en français and the Vermilionville Jambalya Cookoff! ***** Venez à Vermilionville pour une célébration de la langue et de la culture françaises en Louisiane! Le samedi 4 septembre, on va avoir de la musique, des conférenciers, des panélistes, des organismes communautaires, des artisans de bière locaux, du rhum à la française des Wildcat Brothers (Les Frères Pichou) et plus encore! On aura aussi de la pétanque, de bons cocktails, de bonnes conversations en français et le concours de Jambalaya Vermilionville!e! Vermilionville Bal du Dimanche (Sunday Dance)
Bayou Vermilion District & Vermilionville host a live concert series EVERY SUNDAY. The concert series is held in Vermilionville’s Performance Center venue from 1-4 p.m. Admission is $10 and includes a self-guided tour of the Vermilionville Living History museum. Come early and grab lunch at Vermilionville’s restaurant, La Cuisine de Maman. The restaurant is open every Sunday from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. and features authentic Cajun and Creole cuisine. On Sundays, the restaurant features an all-you-can-eat Sunday buffet. Sunday, September 5, 2021 featured band: Horace Trahan and the Ossun Express Admission to the Live Concert Series is included in your Bayou Vermilion District & Vermilionville membership.
