Vermilionville’s Painting Class Series: Painting with History!
Vermilionville invites you to come paint with us! Anyone can participate in our new painting class series on Saturday, July 24 from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Registration is required and includes all art supplies as well as mimosas and strawberry infused water. You also have the option to add a delicious lunch with bayou chicken caesar wrap, pasta salad, cookie, and lemonade. During this class you will learn to paint a beautiful, antique artifact from the museum's collection, the Regina Music Box. Historical information and fun facts about the Regina Music Box and the corresponding record disks will be shared with the groups as we paint. Spots are limited, so make your reservation today! Sunday Concert Series: Mason Trail and Zydeco Rhythm
Bayou Vermilion District & Vermilionville host a live concert series EVERY SUNDAY. The concert series is held in Vermilionville’s Performance Center venue from 1-4 p.m. Admission is $10 and includes a self-guided tour of the Vermilionville Living History museum. Come early and grab lunch at Vermilionville’s restaurant, La Cuisine de Maman. The restaurant is open every Sunday from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. and features authentic Cajun and Creole cuisine. On Sundays, the restaurant features an all-you-can-eat Sunday buffet. Sunday, July 25, 2021 featured band: Mason Trail and Zydeco Rhythm!
