Vermilionville’s Painting Class Series: Painting with History!

Vermilionville invites you to come paint with us!  Anyone can participate in our new painting class series on Saturday, July 24 from 10 a.m.-1 p.m.  Registration is required and includes all art supplies as well as mimosas and strawberry infused water.  You also have the option to add a delicious lunch with bayou chicken caesar wrap, pasta salad, cookie, and lemonade. During this class you will learn to paint a beautiful, antique artifact from the museum's collection, the Regina Music Box.  Historical information and fun facts about the Regina Music Box and the corresponding record disks will be shared with the groups as we paint.  Spots are limited, so make your reservation today! On Saturday, September 4th, we'll be hosting music, speakers, panelists, community organizations, local beer crafters, French-style rum from Wildcat Brothers, and more!  We'll also have pentanque, great drinks, great conversations en français and the Vermilionville Jambalya Cookoff! ***** Venez à Vermilionville pour une célébration de la langue et de la culture françaises en Louisiane! You will learn to paint Vermilionville's oldest historic house, Maison Broussard.  Historical information and fun facts about the Maison Broussard and Halloween will be shared with the group as we paint.
