    Les Mains Guidees — Herb Green Percussion Workshop –CANCELLED

    Unfortunately, we must cancel this workshop. Hopefully, we can reschedule again later in the summer. Thank you for understanding. Herb Green will lead an exciting workshop on percussion Saturday, June 3, 10 AM - noon. He will talk about the history and sounds of a range of percussion instruments including the djembe, talking drums, bells and more. From there, the session will move into how these instruments are played and how they fit into the overall soundscape of music. The participants will then work to drum together. The workshop is $35 per person, class limited to 25. If your heart beats to drumbeats, this is an unbeatable experience, sign up today!

June's selection is "Accordions Rising", a documentary feature film about the resurgence of interest in accordion music over the last 30-40 years. Though many continue to see the accordion as the stodgy instrument of a bygone era – and accordion jokes abound — it is time to set the record straight!
