the Les Vues FREE Film Series for August presents "Our Spirits Don't Speak English", a documentary chronicling efforts by the U.S. Government to separate Native American children from their families and put them into "Indian Boarding Schools" to achieve 'cultural assimilation'. Conversation after the film will be curated by Chief Sitting Bear of the Avogel.

The free jam is held in the Performance Center of Vermilionville Living Museum & Folklife Park and is open to all skill levels-beginner to professional.
