La Chapelle de Atakapas — Climate-controlled and intimate, perfect for weddings up to 140 people
Performance Center — Our most popular reception space. Cypress dance floor, raised stage, room for 350 inside, with considerably more when exterior walls opened into our courtyard. Bridal Suite and backstage area.
La Cuisine de Maman — Our restaurant with glassed-in views of the Vermilion, capacity 75 guests. Perfect for rehearsal dinners or smaller evening weddings.

Our wedding and reception at Vermilionville was everything we could have hoped for. Not only was it a beautiful venue, but it came with the best food catering in Lafayette. Our event coordinator, Johni John, was very responsive and took care of everything we needed. She made sure our evening went planned exactly how we envisioned it with the help of the event manager, Mike Despani. Vermilionville was the perfect venue for our son’s wedding. The candlelit trail guided guests to the early evening outdoor ceremony at the Broussard House. The bride and bridesmaids were ferried across Petite Bayou for a beautiful entrance. The reception at the Performance Center was everything we could have wanted with the barn doors open and guests flowing out into the courtyard. The food was delicious and plentiful. Working with the event coordinator, the event manager, and the catering staff was seamless and top-notch! They know what they’re doing! We held our son’s wedding rehearsal dinner at Vermilionville and it could not have gone better. The setting was lovely and relaxed, and the staff were all unfailingly kind, friendly, and helpful. The Event Coordinator worked so patiently with us, we knew we were in good hands. We wanted to treat our many out-of-town guests to something special, so we opted for a crawfish boil plus a small buffet of Louisiana specialty dishes. Everyone at SOTT enjoys our yearly Friday night tournament parties at Vermilionville. The food is always wonderful. The staff always makes our event easy to plan and they are always going above and beyond our expectations during the event. They work hard to accommodate our requests.
