ADMISSION

7The Living History Museum & Folklife Park provides a wonderful educational experience for adults and children alike.

Our hours of operation are from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. (admission stops at 3 p.m.), Tuesday-Sunday. We are closed on Mondays. 

General Admissions are $12 for adults, $10 for seniors, and $7 for children.

ADULT GROUP TOURS

Vermilionville offers discounts for adult tours for groups of 20+. There are activity options, ranging from boat tours of the Vermilion to cooking demonstrations and dance lessons.

PLEASE NOTE:

To ensure that we can fully accommodate a group, reservations must be made at least 2 weeks prior to the date of the tour and must include maximum numbers for the group.

Please use the booking request form at the bottom of the page. 

For a self-guided tour, we recommend no less than one-and-a-half hours in the village, with an orientation to start, and time in the gift shop after!  Please allow for at least two hours with us.

In order to receive the reduced admission rate, groups must be booked at least two weeks in advance.

Guides

Groups can take a self-guided tour, or opt for one of our guides to lead them through the village (we recommend 2 hours to complete the tour). We can provide 1 tour guide for every 25 guests at a rate of $35 (in addition to the admission cost). A tour guide must be booked at least two weeks in advance of your arrival date.

TOUR ENHANCEMENTS

We also offer cooking demonstrations and dance lessons; both classes are 30 minutes each and start at $4 per person.  Enhancements accompany a tour of the village and must be booked in conjunction with a visit. 

CUISINE

Vermilionville has a full-service restaurant and offers meal plans for groups and individuals.. Please note that group tour participants are not permitted to eat lunch in La Cuisine de Maman; a pre-determined menu can be made by the tour operator and served in an area where we can better accommodate you. DEPOSITS

Deposits are required for meal plans, boat tours and tour guides; deposits are due 21 days prior t arrival unless arrangements are made in advance. We keep credit cards on file for deposits.
