The last Wednesday on each month is Homeschool Day at Vermilionville -- homeschooling families get a discount on visits to the village! WHERE IS AL HEBERT?? -- September 10, he's coming to Vermilionville's Cooking School to watch and film Jay Steiner demonstrate three delicious historic recipes -- Jambalaya, Maque Choux, and Beignets! You can be part of the TV magic. The demos begin at 10:30, with Al and Jay in the kitchen, filming for TV 15's morning news (to be broadcast at a later date...) Come meet Al and Jay, watch and learn some culinary history, have lunch and maybe be on TV15 as well! Tickets available now for this event, open to all ages, family-friendly and guaranteed to be FUN!
