Stories of My Ancestors — Homeschool Program

Through song, dance, and expressive body movement, Daphne shares a personal journey that traces her lineage back to West Africa while introducing the history of slavery in an accessible and meaningful way. Students will also participate in a hands-on Kente cloth craft, and each child will receive a small gift from the museum gift shop—making this a rich learning experience that blends history, culture, and creativity.

All ages welcome, spots available: 50

Ages 3-4: $8, includes FREE admission into village, storytelling, performance, kente cloth craft and gift from gift shop.

Student Ages 5+: $17, includes admission into village, storytelling, performance, kente cloth craft and gift from gift shop.

Adults: $12, includes admission into village.

Pre-registration required.
