Southside Park is operated and maintained solely by the Bayou Vermilion District. The park is located off of E Broussard Rd and is one of the larger parks operated by the Bayou Vermilion District. In the park you will find plenty of green area for sports, playing or just relaxing. There is also a pavilion overlooking the Bayou Vermilion as well as boardwalk for fishing or just enjoying the view. The newest addition to the park is a canoe/kayak launch making it easier for paddlers to put in and get out of the water.
BEAVER PARK

Beaver Park is operated and maintained through a partnership between the Beaver Club of Lafayette, City of Lafayette and the Bayou Vermilion District. The city of Lafayette is responsible for the cleanup and maintenance of the park while Bayou Vermilion District maintains the boat launch and floating docs surrounding the launch.
ROTARY POINT
WEST BAYOU PARKWAY
Rotary Point is operated and maintained through a partnership between the Oil Center Rotary Club and the Bayou Vermilion District. The Oil Center Rotary Club of Lafayette is responsible for the cleanup, maintenance and landscaping of the parks while the Bayou Vermilion District maintains the boat launch and fishing pier near the launch.
