CANOE & KAYAK LAUNCHES
le Bayou Quartier Vermilion exploite et entretient quatre lancements de canoë et de kayak Lafayette qui fera partie de la Sentier de pagaie de la paroisse de Lafayette. Le Paddle Trail reliera d'autres sentiers paroissiaux à Lafayette et les régions avoisinantes.
Les lancements peuvent accueillir deux bateaux à aubes à la fois et aider à une station d'envoi ou d'accostage facile.
le Vermilionville Canoe & Kayak launch is located at 300, chemin Fisher on the ground of the Living History Museum and Folklife Park.
Access to this Canoe & Kayak Launch is limited to Monday – Sunday 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. While the launch remains operational, the parking lot is closed off to the public during this time.
le Camellia Bridge Canoe & Kayak Launch is located on Bellaire Road and is accessible between the hours of 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. There are parking and street lights for your safety.
This is the perfect starting point on the Southside of Lafayette for a paddle up or downstream.
le Southside Park Canoe & Kayak Launch is located off of East Broussard Road next to the Shell and Limestone Plant.
While the park is closed overnight, the Canoe & Kayak Launch is accessible by water 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Southside Park also serves as the last public Canoe & Kayak Launch in Lafayette Parish.
