SUMMARY:Bayou Fest & Boat Parade
DESCRIPTION:Save the date for one of the best days on the bayou all year ’round! Gather your friends\, your canoe\, your cooler\, your fiddle\, your best costumes\, your dog\, whatever\, and get ready to join us for a day to celebrate the Bayou Vermilion! \nThis is going to be a great time on the water\, and we want you to come a be a part of it. The parade will set sail at 11:30 AM from the dock at Vermilionville\, and wind all along the bayou to Southside Park. We’ll have music all the way down the bayou\, and of course costume\, shore party and boat decorating contests! \nAt the park\, we’ll have food and drinks\, games\, and music! \nWant to paddle but have no boat? The BVD has got you covered. We’ve got canoes and kayaks available to help you get in the water and experience our own Bayou Vermilion. Each vessel you rent from us comes with two registrations for paddlers. \nWe’ll also have a shuttle in the morning so you can drop off your gear and vessel at Vermilionville\, then park at Southside Park and ride back to the Vermilionville dock!
