DESCRIPTION:Come take a tour on the Cocodrie 2\, Bayou Vermilion District’s flat bottom boat. Learn all about the history\, geology and environment of the Vermilion River. See the sights\, flora and fauna (who knows\, and a gator or two!) Spend an hour in the morning breezes with our boat captain\, Mike Fowler\, and Ivy Broussard as your guides. First step: register for the tour here: https://forms.gle/RA2EWifwXnj5dXQB6 \nALSO\, if you’re looking for something else cool to do after your boat tour\, you can buy tickets for a self-guided tour of our historic village here\, as well. \nLife jackets must be worn and will be provided for adults and children over 30 lbs. Siblings ages 3-4 are free\, and welcome\, but MUST be at least 18 pounds with an approved USCG life jacket to sit. We have a few life jackets for children above 30 pounds. All children must counted in the ticket numbers (limited space on our boat…) If they do not qualify for the 30-pound limit\, you must bring a USCG-approved life jacket for them. . DESCRIPTION:ONLINE TICKETS ARE NO LONGER AVAILABLE — THEY WILL BE AVAILABLE AT THE DOOR. \nRing in the New Year with Geno Delafose and the French Rockin’ Boogie!  Don’t miss the biggest party of the year at Vermilionville with delicious food\, drinks\, and dancing with Geno Delafose\, New Year’s Eve at Vermilionville. \nLobby opens at 8 p.m.  Doors open at 8:30 p.m. with music from 9:30 PM – 12:30 AM.  Food and beverage are available for purchase. Tickets are $45 each\, available below. \nAll funds from this annual event will go towards programs that promote and preserve local cultures in Acadiana. \nNOTE: No outside food or beverages are allowed in the Performance Center. This includes water bottles\, so be aware. Also\, no large bags or backpacks\, unless subjected to search by security. No smoking within 25 feet of the Performance Center. Smoking is allowed in designated areas\, with clearly marked receptacles for cigarette butts. \n
