SUMMARY:Les Vues June: "Accordions Rising"
DESCRIPTION:Les Vues\, Vermilionville’s free film series is back and better than ever. June’s selection is “Accordions Rising”\, a documentary feature film about the resurgence of interest in accordion music over the last 30-40 years. Though many continue to see the accordion as the stodgy instrument of a bygone era – and accordion jokes abound — it is time to set the record straight! Join us for an educational and fun evening\, 6:30 PM\, Monday June 26. FREE to the public. Discussion after the film curated by Kevin Rees\, Vermilionville historian and musician.
